1st Annual WAPI Walkathon " Legs for Life"


 We Just had our 1st Annual WAPI Walkathon on September 25th 2011 at the Luther Burbank Park. Please share your thoughts about this event.

  1. It was great to be a part of this event from the get go. I loved the fact that people who made this possible came from all walks of life and all age groups and all different types of talent and more importantly enjoyed doing so. I will always remember that the walkathon started with the youngest of the group less than a year old clapping and cheering and ended with the father of one of our physicians helping in cleanup - and everyone and everything in-between contributing. To me that is life - Usha

  2. It was indeed a great event! So many people showed up and the participation and enthusiasm of the youth was wonderful. It was good to see so many physician participants! Now o get more participants!
    We can put more signs for the walking path next time... but being a big park people can follow their own, which is fine too!
